BEHOLD... GALACTUS! (1981-1982)

Galactus chose Tyros of the planet Birj to become his herald because he was utterly devoid of morals. Unfortunately, Tyros wasn't devoid of ambition and, after gaining power of earth from Galactus and becoming Terrax (during IN SEARCH OF GALACTUS), he jacked in his new job to become a tyrant again.

Last time we saw Klaw, he was discorporated and sucked into his own sound converter thanks to the Aquarian. Now he's back! And it's all thanks to the cleaner at Project PEGASUS. But what does that have to do with Galactus and how does it all play a part in the SECRET WARS?

Aside from the Fantastic Four, this storyline also features Rom who only recently returned to his home planet Galador and freed it from the Prime Director's evil half, Mentus. He also redeemed the demented Terminator who had been placed Rom's human body with cyborg parts matching Rom. Dazzler also makes an appearance, changing the direction of Klaw's life and becoming an unlikely love interest for the Devourer of Worlds...

MARVEL MONSTERS (2005)

One of Marvel's fifth-week events from 2005 centred around the classic Marvel Monsters that would invade the pages of Strange Tales , Journey into Mystery , Amazing Adventures , Tales to Astonish and Tales of Suspense every month, before the age of heroes. While it was an okay event at best, the four one-shots finally established that those behemoths from outer space and other dimensions did actually inhabit the Marvel Universe ! The highlight is the Hulk 's clash with Devil Dinosaur (a character who was first introduced in the 1970s), but we also found out what some of these creatures had been up to since their early '60 debuts, an untold tale of the time some of the Marvel U's more monstrous heroes gathered to fight them and, finally, the introduction of the  Fin Fang Four ! The featured stories aren't connected and most issues also featured reprints of classic Marvel Monster tales. Marvel Monsters: Devil Dinosaur #1 [1/2] Marvel Monsters: Monsters on the Prow...

WHEN MUTANTS CLASH (1967-1968)

When Captain America leaves Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers start to come apart at the seams. If that wasn't enough, two former-members of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants - Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch - are about to leave the Avengers in favour of rejoining their old boss, Magneto . Will there even be a team left? Perhaps they could consider a new member like Dane Whitman -  a guy who can't make up his mind if he's a forward-thinking or an old-school Black Knight .  Magneto has plan to keep an eye on the shipping news and raid boats that pass his mid-Atlantic island base to help finish off his machine that will turn humanity into his mindless slaves.
