Long before she took on the mantle of Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers was head of security on a NASA base when the original Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell of the alien Kree) came crashing into her life. As her fascination with Mar-Vell compromised the base's security, Carol would wind up in a situation that would give her super-human powers. She'd find herself adopting the identity of Ms Marvel, though she wouldn't know she was Ms Marvel at first!
This is the full reading order for Carol Danvers' first stint as Ms Marvel. I'll be following it up (fairly quickly, I hope) with reading orders for her time as Binary, Warbird, her second stint as Ms Marvel and finishing with her transformation into Captain Marvel!
As always, I'd like to thank the guys over at the Marvel Chronology Project which I use as a basis and then work out my own continuity. Those guys have done all the heavy lifting for me!
