When Marvel UK rejigged Death's Head in the early '90s, he proved to be pretty popular. More so than any of the other characters that launched around that time, they figured they'd just make more characters almost exactly like him and watch the money roll in!
The Death3 mini-series introduced two more Minion cyborgs; Death-Wreck was the prototype that preceded Death's Head, while Death Metal would be Dr Evelyn Necker's newer, deadlier design. Both cyborgs gained their own solo mini-series after that (with Death-Wreck's taking place before Death3), but eveb Death's Head's own series was cancelled before his brothers' titles would wrap up. The comics boom was coming to an abrupt end and pretty much all of Marvel UK's titles soon disappeared from the shelves with numerous scheduled titles never seeing print.
While we'd see Death's Head pop up again (primarily in 2014's REVOLUTIONARY WAR), Death Metal and Death-Wreck have not yet returned. Though many of the creators involved have gone on to bigger and infinitely better things...
On Earth-8410 in the year 2018, Dr Evelyn Necker is unknowingly two years away from (near) success on the Minion Project to create the perfect attack cyborg for AIM. To keep her job, she speeds things along by transferring the brain of a wino into the random mechanical parts to create the first Minion. In the year 2099 on Earth-928, would-be world conqueror Lozof Burgen comes under attack from the second Minion, now a mercenary calling himself Death's Head. When the first Minion picks up Necker's time disc in 2018, it allows Burgen to transport him to 2099. In an effort to save himself from Death's Head, Burgen attaches a bomb to the first Minion - who Burgen dubs 'Death Wreck', remembering him from a previous encounter - and sends him back in time in the hope of killing Necker before she can create Death's Head. Instead, Death-Wreck ends up materialising the the old west...
Death-Wreck #2
Death Wreck has landed on a Los Angeles film set in 1934 and soon finds himself chased down by police. After accidentally leaving the bomb behind and blowing up most of the cast and crew, Death Wreck is picked up as a possible enforcer for a gangster called Carmenio. Death Wreck drinks nearly all the booze in Carmenio's bar before drunkenly killing as many of Carmenio's men as cops during a raid. When his time disc takes a hit, Death Wreck materialises on Earth-93122 where his attempt to steal alcohol from a drunk lands him in trouble...
Death-Wreck #3
Death-Wreck comes under fire from Dredge, a law officer in New York of 2053. Dr Evelyn Necker transports herself to that era in time to electrocute Dredge, but fails to retrieve Death Wreck when he accidentally hits his time disc. He arrives on Earth-9413 where Presidential Candidate Mick Harty decries the influence of the Minion cyborgs on the youth. Specifically, Death Wreck materialises in 16-year old Olivia 'Twinkle' De Diamond's bedroom and the pair quickly become the target of the heavily-armed Path of Righteousness Patrol. In the course of the chase, Twinkle's father and Mick Harty are killed, then the two of them jump in time back to Earth-928 where Burgen's men surround them...
Death-Wreck #4
Twinkle is brought before Lozof Burgen as he emerges from his Gene Pool (his very own rejuvenating fountain of youth) and reveals (among other things) his intention for domination and to never die. Necker arrives in Death Wreck's cell and reluctantly agrees to help him rescue Twinkle. The three of them destroy Burgen's Gene Pool before Twinkle knocks out Necker and convinces Death Wreck to take her on adventures through time with him. Death's Head finally reaches Rozof Burgen and kills him.
Death3 #1
In the year 2021 on Earth-8410, Death Wreck returns (without Twinkle) to find Dr Evelyn Necker working for the Omni Mega-Corporation. In an effort to build a third Minion cyborg, Necker sends Death Wreck on a random time jump. He returns from Earth-9939 with the liquid metal arm of one of the creatures he fought there. Necker dubs the metal Promethium and uses it to build a new cyborg she calls Death Metal. The cyborg immediately rejects her orders and reality hops out of there, landing unconscious back on Earth-9939...

Elsewhere, Doctor Octopus takes Death Metal back to Doctor Doom to earn a place as his right-hand man over the Kingpin. Death Metal regains consciousness and kills them all. He's then pursued by Ghost Rider who unleashes his full fury on him...
Death3 #3
Death's Head realises he's on Earth-9939, the reality where Charnel defeated Earth's heroes and ruled the world. As Death's Head previously managed to alter the past and defeat Charnel, this reality will end at some point soon. Despite this, he agrees to join the heroes in facing down Charnel. Elsewhere, Death Metal destroys the Ghost Rider and tracks down his 'father' Charnel (who gave power to the Prometheum in the first place) to aid him in destroying everything. The heroes fight their way through Charnel's warriors only to be brought down by Death Metal and face Charnel himself...
Death3 #4
The Minions' battle sends them down a ravine, leaving the heroes to face Charnel on the surface. The reformed Ghost Rider jumps down the ravine and uses his penance stare on Death Metal to make him realise all the pain he's caused. Death Metal joins Death's Head and Death Wreck in making their way to the surface where he helps them kill Charnel. Despite their victory, Earth-9939 begins to fade from existence. The three Minions experience a time quake which sends Death's Head to present day Earth and Death Wreck back to Evelyn Necker. But where did Death Metal go?
