Power Pack #11
The Power Pack kids head into the sewers to rescue a cat that ran down a storm drain, only to get separated by gushing water. Gee and Energizer return to the surface to get fire extinguishers for Gee's makeshift jetpack, while Lightspeed and Mass Master find themselves the target of those legendary sewer crocodiles. Gee and Energizer rescue their siblings but realise they left their school books in the sewer. Little do they realise the crocs were being controlled by a man who now has those books...

Power Pack #12
Power Pack's attempt to retrieve their school books gets them captured by a band of outcast Morlocks. Lucky for them, Nightcrawler and Shadowcat of the X-Men are in the tunnels, checking in with the Morlock leader, Callisto. The X-Men free Power Pack who learn the Morlock Annalee was trying to capture them to replace her lost children. Lightspeed finds the kitten and gives it to the young Morlock Leech. Everyone parts on positive terms, but Annalee is determined to make the Power Pack kids her own...
Uncanny X-Men #195
The Power family are woken by a thunderstorm, but James & Margaret Power don't recognise their own children. And there's no evidence of the four kids having ever been in the house. They figure the Morlock Beautiful Dreamer must have changed their parents memories and, taking a trip back into the sewers, they quickly realise they're right! Power Pack are captured by the Morlocks again, all except for Energizer whose face is warped by Masque as she makes her escape. She's found on the surface by police and Shadowcat - watching news coverage on TV - recognises her costume.

Shadowcat leads Rogue, Rachel Summers and Wolverine into the sewers where they come under attack from Annalee's rogue Morlocks and three mutated, brainwashed members of Power Pack. Callisto arrives and puts a stop to the carnage. Energizer makes Annalee see the error of her ways and the team are restored to their normal selves. Then, Rachel gets a psychic alert from the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. But it's coming from Magneto...
Secret Wars II #1 (1985)
The X-Men return to the Xavier School to discover Magneto is actually there to warn them that the Beyonder is on Earth during SECRET WARS II.

Uncanny X-Men #211 (1986)
Annalee and Piper are killed by the Marauders during MUTANT MASSACRE.

Power Pack #27 (1986)
Power Pack visit the Morlocks again, only to find they're being mercilessly slaughtered during MUTANT MASSACRE.

Power Pack #32 (1990)
Power Pack swap powers; Jack Power ends up with the anti-gravity power set, becoming Counterweight.

Power Pack #55 (1990)
Power Pack swap powers again; Alex Power becomes Mass Master when he gains his little brother's original power set.

Weapon X #5 (2003)
Ape and Tar Baby are among the mutants killed in the Neverland concentration camp.

X-Force #12 (2009)
Beautiful Dreamer is injected with a strain of the Legacy Virus and turned into a living bomb during MESSIAH WAR.

MARVEL MONSTERS (2005)

One of Marvel's fifth-week events from 2005 centred around the classic Marvel Monsters that would invade the pages of Strange Tales , Journey into Mystery , Amazing Adventures , Tales to Astonish and Tales of Suspense every month, before the age of heroes. While it was an okay event at best, the four one-shots finally established that those behemoths from outer space and other dimensions did actually inhabit the Marvel Universe ! The highlight is the Hulk 's clash with Devil Dinosaur (a character who was first introduced in the 1970s), but we also found out what some of these creatures had been up to since their early '60 debuts, an untold tale of the time some of the Marvel U's more monstrous heroes gathered to fight them and, finally, the introduction of the  Fin Fang Four ! ANNIHILATION (2005-2007)
